Scenario / Explorations Kinetic Film

One film. One Claude skill. Every frame is code.

KineticFilm

Launch films written as code. Scored with Scenario.

Huge words on every beat, whip pans, colour flips, 3D letters the camera flies through. No timeline and no generated motion: each film is one web page, rendered frame by frame with real motion blur. Scenario makes what code cannot play: the music and the sound effects. A Claude skill does the rest, from the brief to a checked 4K file.

The film

Just code

A film about how it was made, and every claim in it is true: one web page, no timeline, no plugins, rendered on a laptop. Fourteen scenes on a 174 BPM phonk track, ending on the Scenario logo.

The skill on this page is this film's engine, ready for your own brief.

How it works

A beat sheet, then code.

  1. 1

    Words on the beat

The brief becomes a beat sheet: one or two words per beat, a block for each phrase, the drop where the film turns. Everything is timed in beats, so the cuts land on the music.

  2. 2

    Scenario scores it

For a new film, the skill uses the Scenario MCP to generate music at an exact tempo, measures the track's downbeats and drop, then generates a kit of one-shot sounds for the cuts.

  3. 3

    Code moves it

A short spec places blocks on the beat grid. The engine draws them with a moving camera, whip pans, colour grounds, extruded 3D type and real motion blur, and plays a sound on every cut.

  4. 4

    Measured, not eyeballed

Every render is checked frame by frame: how much of the film is still, the longest hold, the motion, the cuts, the size, and that the file plays on a phone. A film that parks between hits fails.

30%still frames before the end card (the check asks for 40% or less)
0holds longer than 0.6 s before the end card
8.5hard cuts every 10 seconds

The blocks

Thirteen blocks, one beat grid.
