Scenario × Blender

The making of / The Last Repair Shop

From a reference
to a working repair.

Scenario generated the objects, surfaces, sound and film treatments. Blender turned them into a repair you can actually perform.

Start with Sunburst in Scenario, then follow the steps below. The recipe includes the original prompts and suggested settings.

01 / Design & geometry

Give the rover a design.
Then give it a body.

Astra 3D reconstruction

GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst

An image generation and editing model. Here it established the rover, copper cartridge and instrument workbench, all with the same ivory enamel, oxblood markings and worn metal.

Meet Sunburst

GPT-6 Astra 3D

Scenario’s image-to-3D model reconstructs mechanical props as editable, named parts. It created the rover, workbench and replaceable cartridges. Separate parts made wheels and removable components practical to animate.

02 / The Scenario Blender plugin

The replacement makes
a real round trip.

The installed plugin captured a mounting cradle from Blender. That capture and the original cartridge image went to Sunburst to lower the handles and add four brass socket feet. The plugin then submitted the edited reference to Astra 3D and brought the new mesh back into the scene.

After: the plugin-guided revision

Image editing, 3D generation and material application stayed connected to the Blender scene through the plugin. The replacement was then fitted to its mounting points in Blender.

03 / Surface & wear

You can see what failed.
And what is new.

PATINA

A material model that generates coordinated surface maps for color, bumps, metal and reflectivity. Its materials created aged ivory enamel, scorched copper, fresh copper and workshop stone. The Scenario Blender plugin built the material graphs from those maps.

Meet PATINA

The surfaces were fitted to the parts in Blender, keeping the worn original and fresh replacement easy to tell apart.

04 / Movement & interaction

Blender gives the objects
something to do.

The service hatch, fitted cradle, lifting adapters, pivots, hoist motion, wheel rotation and cameras were authored in Blender. This is where the generated parts became an inspectable, repairable machine.

The same roughly 40-second animation supplies the native film and the interactive workshop. A browser export lets you orbit the scene and jump straight to Inspect, Open, Remove, Replace, Restart or Depart.

The animation is authored motion. The revised cartridge is a fresh reconstruction fitted in Blender, rather than an exact CAD edit or an automatically rigged mechanism.

05 / Cinematography & sound

One repair.
Two new atmospheres.

Seedance 2.5

A video generation and editing model. We made a roughly 30-second cut in Scenario Video Studio, then gave Seedance that motion reference and a Sunburst appearance guide for each look. It produced the daylight and night treatments.

ElevenLabs sound effects + Scenario Video Studio

Generated sound effects supplied workshop ambience, hatch movement, the cartridge seat and the restart. Scenario Audio Extract and Video Studio restored the matching sound and title to both finished films.

Seedance reinterprets some fine lettering, coil surfaces and fittings. The editable Blender scene retains the original geometry and authored movement.

Make your own version

The same tools.
Your next idea.

Choose a machine with a part worth replacing. Generate its reference, reconstruct it with Astra, and bring the parts into Blender. Use the plugin to revise and texture the replacement, then turn your animation into alternate film treatments.

The connection: the Scenario MCP let the agent submit generations, track jobs and retrieve assets. The Blender plugin kept the reference captures, revised objects and generated materials connected to the scene.

The links open the tools. Follow the recipe to generate your assets and assemble the scene in Blender. A Scenario account is required for generation.
