Imagen 4 (Fast) by Google is a text-to-image model optimized for rapid generation and high-volume workflows. Released in August 2025, it generates photorealistic images in about 2 seconds, from 5 credits per image. The model prioritizes speed over maximum detail, making it effective for iterative design, rapid prototyping, and batch generation. It supports up to 2K resolution with strong text rendering and color accuracy. Generation time is up to 10× faster than Imagen 3 through optimized inference architecture.
