Released in June 2025, this closed-source I2V (image-to-video) model is built for controlled animation. Its input supports both first-frame and last-frame images, enabling precise loops and seamless transitions. The model prioritizes visual refinement and narrative structure, offering enhanced sharpness and realistic lighting over the base 2.1 model. It is effective for professional animation where exact start and end points are crucial. As a mid-2025 release, it has been largely superseded by the faster 2.5 series and the more advanced O1 I2V.
